Hard, lumpy mud. There aren't garbage cans along the trail, so you must pack in and pack out...leaving a bag full of poop on the trail is counter productive!

!I rode the entire length of this trail and the adjoining Conewago trail and back 2 weeks ago, and it was a great ride.
