I really liked this movie - House. I really enjoyed this movie but do not recommend for the faint of heart or squeamish because although it is Christian fiction to clarify it is horror-Christian fiction.
It’s so much better. I would not recommend this movie to children under the age of 15 due to the violence and paranormal activity. While this is a low-budget movie that doesn't entirely do justice to the book, it does maintain the main storyline and themes of the book (and in fact adds a twist at the end that is an improvement from the book). I would not say this movie is not scary, but opens your eyes to examine yourself to see what actor's role your life follows and the consequence of such. All in all a good watch on a dark and stormy night. It grabs you by the hair, drags your across the floor, and refuses to let go. I felt for the characters and for what was happening to them (and for what had happened to them in their pasts--one of the characters was haunted by memories of being raped by her uncle when she was a child). This film scared me crazy when I was a kid.
What a waste of a rental fee. I remember seeing this for the first time on cable TV (remember those days? With Kimiko Ikegami, Miki Jinbo, Kumiko Ohba, Ai Matsubara. I liked this movie and more importantly, direction. Actually showed the monsters, didn't take the cheap and easy way out like most movies do and leave it to your imagination. Watch anywhere, anytime, on an unlimited number of devices.
A great ghost story, coupled with your over the top effects without cgi, makes House one of the more notable 80's movies in the horror genre. Perfect as always with Arrow Video ; quality of image and sound + plenty of bonus features ! Must watch. Maybe the explanation ended up on the cutting room floor. Terrible movie, read the book.

This event that was slammed as an encounter operation by political parties and a large part of the society, many media houses and social activists brought the Delhi Police under intense scrutiny for allegedly killing innocent students in the name of terrorists. Just to be clear the disc itself, as well as the package, was fine, Undamaged. The DVD case had no wear or tear. Track, discover and find where to watch TV shows and movies from Netflix, Amazon … And no uncomfortable scene s added which is not relate to the actual content. The cast was top-notch, too: William Katt (of ‘Carrie’ & TV’s ‘The Greatest American Hero’ fame), George Wendt (of ‘Dreamscape’ & TV’s ‘Cheers’ fame), Richard Moll (of TV’s ‘Night Court’ fame) & Kay Lenz (from ‘Stripped To Kill’) all made for a fun time in this horror masterpiece from 1985, produced by Sean S.
