The side of hash browns for $6 is a decent size but they're sought with zero crispness and of course that weird aftertaste.

The omelet was not good at all.

Prices were well above average, which is why it fell to two stars. It's a classic diner decor in a great locale.

However I like to see a big diner menu and it was lacking.

Very tired walking and we thought of having late night dinner in this place. Soggy hash browns and pancakes and eggs that have all been fried in some kind of oil or fat that's giving everything a terrible aftertaste. The Tick Tock Diner has plenty of options from breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. French onion fine, but mostly cheese. The remodeled  popular diner had great atmosphere, great location, great service but the menu and food were not so great. That should be the only thing u need to order. Keep walking past this place.Meet the saddest burger you ever saw that took 45 minutes to get to the table. I asked for wAter and I was directed bu Diana to the bar to asd them.

Search restaurants or dishes. Then "Diana" the hostest.

Cup of soup $4, bacon cheeseburger and fries $14. Chicken noodle was very salty. Very disappointed!!

Let's just say that the experiences were vastly different.

Group of 3 dining,  we ordered the Greek spreads to start. Womens bathroom smelled like they never cleaned it before and had no tp in any stall.

Not i. My husband liked their coffeeThey have absolutely no dairy free milk.

And not for the better. Too few options for a traditional diner and not enough quirky delicious options to be trendy...This diner is in the New Yorker hotel where we were staying. He did not know what Decent brunch and omelette choices.

The prices also were hiked up.Finally I had a chance to go back and try newly remodeled Tick Tock diner. Frankly I don't understand all negative feedback, diner is still same diner, just newer and cleaner. Tick Tock Diner.

I tasted each and noticed each had it's own distinct funk until the hummus. The server with short blonde hair and tattoos was extremely rude, inattentive and had no idea what she was doing. Nothing special. Soda $3.25.

Classic New Jersey Diner on Route 3 in Clifton Anything else to note about them right now? Big mistake.Tic tock just reopened after extensive renovations. Very bad staff, bad attitude. Get delivery from Tick Tock Diner super-fast to your door.

The Cuban was not authentic, but tasted fine. And when it finally arrived, it was not worth waiting for.

Service was swift and attentive and I liked new light colored decor it gave a clean fresh look.This was our first visit since the rebuild.

Not to friendly or helpful. I won't say where the first one was, but the second one was at Tick Tock Diner.

The menu has been downsized so much that they forgot to keep classic diner fare on it. My boyfriend and I just got off a super long bus ride, it was late and we were ready to eat almost anything and when we saw the diner we thought, well this should be decent.

I did have Jersey fries with gravy and cheese...maybe I wasn't drunk enough they were ok.o ordered  chicken fingers a s and expected frozen cooked to order. Call and ask.

They have had renovations done, and it looks nice, but the food was a total let down. From the decor, to the menu, to the food and the service, everything has changed.

I don't know what they're trying to be, but it's not the iconic diner they used to be.
