While it steeped, lots of rooibos bits floated through the coil strainer. Though, it appears that the coil strainer works better after a little pouring as the strainer is all jammed with rooibos and other tea bits!However, there is still a little that does escape so the second cup wasn’t that drinkable as rooibos floats on the top.With that said, I’d find another way to steep up a rooibos like tea in this pot.I decided to test whether DavidsTea’s metal perfect infuser that came with my It fits in the tea pot! DAVIDsTEA 77. However, my tea pot arrived in perfect condition – everything was packaged very well!This tea pot is large. The thin handle is a minor issue.
