The Chef prepared us a special meal which was delivered with sparkling wine to our room. We tried calling several times at different parts of the morning but we weren't able to talk to anyone. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and it was good to see the hotel adhering to covid-19 safety measures etc.

Which given the times were in with coronavirus, is concerning to see things like hygiene overlooked. I will make sure I spread the word.This was our wedding night. Be enticed by the Pacific inspired Mediterranean dishes presented with casual sophistication. After my experience yesterday with your staff and manager, I will never stay at the Mercure again and will not recommend the Mercure to anyone. I do love this hotel, it has great positioning as I can walk everywhere. We had used the shower the previous evening and it was perfectly fine, but unfortunately in the morning it remained cold- even when turned up to the hottest temperature.

The room we stayed in must have had smokers previously in it.Our room was tidy, the hotel was in a fantastic location with easy access to everything. It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback and I will most certainly share your feedback with the team. Our food came with wooden utensils, we both had eggs Benedict which the muffin was that hard while cutting the muffin our folks both snapped, we had to use our fingers to eat. We were pleased to hear that you had such a pleasant time whilst with us, and we hope to see you again soon. Between these times, the number goes to message bank.

Main point of issue was actually our last night stay, whilst check out was 10am we were awoken early (between 7-8am) due to Drilling and baning in the hallways - upon inspection of opening our door it seems EVERY room on the floow had doors open with Beds being dismantled and replaced with the hallways blocked with multiple mattresses - explaining the noise issue.

A couple of our friends also booked in next to us and we had a great time. They even had a surprise chocolate plate for my daughter for her recent graduation.Booked this for my son as part of his 18th birthday present and he loved it.Great location great staff great 16th floor bar but why was the ground floor bar closed the entire time we were there. The bin in the bathroom had dirty pads and rubbish in it upon arrival which had me concerned having bought my family there; was anything cleaned? This meal was a 5 out of 10. I just wanted to mention that in the morning, the shower was only slightly lukewarm. Enjoy your stay at our 4-star Brisbane accommodation. The staff at the reception were very helpful and the views in the room were fantastic.
